I will overwhelm 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
